This is my seventh and most painful tattoo located on my foot. Lion King was my whole childhood. I would watch it all the time when I was younger and even dressed up as nala one year. My most prized possession is a glass plate with Rafiki holding up Simba on top of a hill after Simba was born. I’m such a child at heart, and I thought this tattoo would be perfect to describe how a simple cartoon movie about staying strong and forever loving your family is really what I’m all about. I watched it for the first time the other day since I was 10, which was nine years ago, and I felt like crying because it brought back every single part of my childhood that I had such a hard time remembering. This tattoo represents the kid inside of me and the happiness that this movie brings to me.
One word: Kimba.
Yeah Mick, you made me think this way.
